Christine Jeffers, CFRE

Christine Jeffers did an outstanding job helping our organization formulate our Strategic Plan.  She led the effort and helped us redefine our mission and vision, and develop comprehensive strategic outcomes with both the board and staff.  She brought us together in a synergistic way so that we were all eager to focus and participate.  She did such an outstanding job that we hired her to come back for Board Development.  We highly recommend Christine, as she is competent, capable, talented, and professional.

The Marine Science Institute has worked with Christine Jeffers on two different projects. The first was a workshop to train our Board in fundraising techniques. The second was to facilitate our retreat discussing both the vision for MSI in the future and the roles of Committees. Christine was fabulous in both roles. She was responsive to our needs, brought a wealth of knowledge to the table and kept us on track. Because of her guidance we were able to be very productive. She was very knowledgeable but also had a great sense of humor and made the day fun.

Christine’s workshop presentation at the Calfornia Association of Museums conference was outstanding. She packed a tremendous amount of information into the time we had and somehow managed to keep the points focused and concise. I left with many ideas that can immediately be applied to issues we face at our museum. Sincere thanks for your efforts and your passions, which were obvious!

Christine has shined as a consultant working for the Palo Alto Art Center Foundation. She’s added value to numerous areas of our operations—from membership re-envisioning to staffing analysis to annual development plan creation to database and planned giving. In all of her endeavors, Christine brings a unique combination of high-level strategy and tactical know-how. She’s not the type of consultant who will only add theoretical or conceptual value to your work, she’ll get her hands dirty and help to create a realistic plan for you to achieve your institutional goals. Christine has so many assets, but what I value most is her ability to cut through the organization clutter to get to the heart of the problem/issue/challenge and to clearly see the path to resolution. She is a trusted and valued advisor, as she has internalized fundraising best practices, practicing what she preaches and teaches in all her work. She’s made a significant difference to our organization and I’m confident that she can do the same for yours.

I immediately sought the services of Christine after hearing her speak at Silicon Valley Philanthropy Day. I was completely taken with her unique brand of experience that so expertly communicated a philanthropic approach that was accessible, spirited, and made you fearless in pursuit of support. She led our organization to have real conversations, break down barriers, and look at our strategies holistically. We are still using her analysis and tools today...timeless.
